PrintLook at the last ten years of Lightning picks in the NHL Entry Draft -- first round, that is -- and you will see only 2 players are still with the Lightning. Only one in the NHL.
Sure there is talent there and it has brought us other talent (Svitov and Mara both brought us players that put us over the top this year) but at the same time - there is ten years of mediocrity in the first round...
Got to do a better job in the future - no matter how late they pick.
