Cibak re-upped

One down, how many mroe to go?

Slovakian Media is reporting that fourth line center Martin Cibak has been signed to a one year deal worth 450 thousand dollars. That contract is one way.

I'm surprised -- though the league minimum, I would have assumed that the contract would have been two way. Cibak faces an uphill battle to retain his fourth line status with Eric Perrin trying to make the roster in the same position.

If Cibak didn’t sign a 1-way deal , he would have been back in Europe in no time as he would get pretty good money from some European club.

Cibak is a pretty good 2-way player, and I’d be shocked if he wasn’t worth a 4th line spot on Tampa now.
