PrintKent Hughes has negotiated a one year deal in principle between his client, Vincent Lecavalier and the Lightning. Why haven't you heard about a one-year contract signing already then? Because the two sides are talking long term deal. The St. Petersburg Times reports that Vinny is willing to take a stay-in-Tampa-Bay discount for the long term deal.
Meanwhile, in both the Trib and Times articles, there is mention that negotiations between Feaster and Martin St. Louis' agent haven't gone very well which contradicts a post that I made on this blog suggesting Marty was willing to take less to stay in TB.
