Ticket prices to see the Lightning have increased 2.3% to $44.23 � about $3 higher than the league average. It's a pretty good deal compared with NHL prices around the country. Throw in the fact that the lightning are the defending World Champions and current masters of Lord Stanley's cup, and I don't see why local fans shouldn't make plans to attend soon.

Actually, the Czech Republic are defending World Champions. We don’t use that misnomer like the NBA and MLB does. ;o)
Judging by the attendance charts, seems a lot of people are taking your advice.
Incidentally, the Flames did not raise their prices at all. And yet, from what I’ve read elsewhere, one team that needed the support the most, the Sabres, may have stealth increased ticket prices for some games by over 200% because of a pricing scheme that takes the idea of “premium games” just a little too far.
