What are some of the most stupid sports arguments that come up again and again? I'm looking for input, suggestions and examples of usage from readers.

The one that immediately comes to mind is, "Hey, give the guy a break! It's a tough job, lets see you do it!" That (paraphrased) statement has been used against me in discussions about sports executives and players in all sports... And yet it seems to be an attempt to jsut forgoe debate. "I can't really come up with a counter point, I jsut don't like you pissing on my guy."
