I was over at Mom’s watching the game and had to leave before it was over. Mom doesn’t watch much hockey and doesn’t understand all the rules (although she’s starting to understand how power plays work) and gets a bit upset when anyone is checked (I have to remind her that it’s legal) and even SHE picked out some of the bad calls! (one of the hooking calls “but the stick barely touched him!) and was pissed at what happened to Feds (”but! That can’t be legal! right? He can’t walk! They didn’t stop the game! Can they do that!")

Tort’s says don’t whine. So let’s stick to that. I agree anyone with eyes can see the inconstincey in the call’s. I don’t know which league I like better, at least in the old NHL you knew that muggin players in the neutral zone was ok, interfence ok, and the rest of trap moves. If the clowns in stripes would just get together and call similar game I would have more hope for the league. The main reason the NBA’s product stinks is the officating. Offical’s should not be focal points in the game or the flow of the game, and that is what is becoming increasingly troublesome to me. Good road trip for the bolts, 2 out of 4 points.
