To the Lurker

Hey there. Yes you. Who are you? Who, who, who, who? I'd like to know.

Now and again, websites attempt to get some clue about the people that read their sites. Due to any number of visitor trackers, bloggers such as myself can tell somewhat about where you are and how you got to our sites... But it’s pretty vague stuff, really. And there are a number of reasons why we would like to know more...

Every website has its “lurkers.” Lurkers are known as readers of a website that choose to not comment. Some blogs announce a “Lurker Amnes1ty Day” or something to encourage readers to leave a comment – any comment, just to get a clue. Well, being that I’m just as curious as all those others, I want to know too.

Of course, it’s not enough for me to know that you are there. I want a bit more... But no real identifying info. Use a fake name, whatever...

No matter HOW you got here (RSS readers, Google Image search?), or why, or how often you come by – yes, even if this is your first visit, I encourage you to leave a comment. please, Please, PLEASE leave a comment. I’d like to know these things:

1. Where are you? ... State / Province and town...
2. Who are you? Gender, Age,
3. How often you stop by here?

That’s it. Only give as much info as you are comfortable. And feel free to use this opportunity to express thoughts on the site – like it, hate it, what we are missing, whatever. Ok… but please hit comments, and say something. Yes – even you! The guy ducking off right now hitting his back button! I mean you too!

Dear John,
I stop by around once a day.I am female and 24 years of age from Lakeland,FL. I appreciate your site and think you also have some great links. The only thing I am not completely fond of is the constant negativity about the Bolts. That is not just you, it seems to be Lightning fans in general. I know they have been up and down but I still feel there is so many positive attributes this team has that are not spoken about enough. That is just my two cents.

Im 25 yrs old, a female…and I live north of the GTA in Ontario Canada…and I am still a Leafs fan but more importantly a Lightning fan , though more for Brad Richards I got to see him play in juniors and now in the NHL. I stop by you site anytime I want to know whats going on with the Lightning as I hear more about the Sens( a great team destined to win the cup this year…sorry its true I love the Bolts but well they really need to pull together if they want to win again) and the Leafs (my hometown team….eveyone cheers them they are our pride whether they win or lose)…your site seems to have all the news and is updated more than the teams so thats why I come here. Keep up the good work :)

I’m 33 years old and live in New Port Richey, FL. I went to the very 1st Lightning game in the old Cow Palace and have been hooked ever since. I stop by your site 5 days a week and for the most part, think you do a great job. I’ve pondered starting a Lightning blog myself but I simply don’t have the time or patience.
