Vinny scores! 1-0
And to give an iun-game comment, who are these guys on the PK and what have they done with the Tampa Bay Lightning?! The difference is night and day (at least so far tonight)

And it wasn’t much of a basketball game, either.
I like what I’m seeing so far.

It was 2-1 sabres when I last saw it — had to leave for a spell. They won?!? The Bolts come back to win this thing?! Holy hell… Streeeeeeeeeakin’!

I was out tonite and checked in to see what happened. I didn’t have much hopes of winning, but with the Sabres on a downward turn with even the Turds beating them, I had an inkling of hope. John F has me thinking we’ve had an invasion of the PK snatchers, and that works for me! Go Bolts.

Either the unit was playing that good, Marsha, or the Sabres were playing that bad. And knowing how bad the Lightning PK has been — anything would be better than what was in place.
There was 4 minute double minor that the Lightning killed off the majority of before a Sabres penalty nullified it. We didn’t just kill off the penalty — i could have swore they were playing more in the Sabres zone than our zone during it.
LHC should have a review fo the game. I didn’t see the 2 goals that made the difference in this one. Major victory though. Both moral and standing wise

Ok, 6 of our penalty minutes were because Vinny L had a bit of an issue with Afinigenov (sp) slugging him in front our goal. VL got 4 minutes for that, then when he got out and we had a man adv for 30 sec, he scored the first goal.
The second goal was by Boyle, solid shot past Miller up high.
Richies was the same side as Boyle, right past Miller.
We killed their power plays, they had plenty of opportunities, and we broke up each one.
Denis stood on his head for the better part of the 3rd as well.
(I was lucky enough to be at the game)

My dumbed down response lauding the Lightning effort on the PK lacked mention of the quick turn around and the PPG by Vincenzo. Thank you so much, Chris
