Game night open thread: Lightning vs. Leafs
Marc Denis is likely to start in goal again for the Lightning. I'm not expecting any major lineup changes from Saturday's game versus the Leafs (no defensivemen will be rotated out so Shane-Oh can play).
The question really is, once again, which team we will see tonight? The Lightning from this western conference sojourn or the Dolts who got smacked around by the Kitties at the start of this trek?
Oh well, a game night open thread shouldn't be all doom and gloom... I'll let The Instigator send us off to comments:

The Bradster scores a PP goal! I was surprised the Leafs got a penalty. Any penalty. It may be the last.

Yeah, I know what you mean Hinch. Homer’s Home Town after all.
The Leafs are looking lost out there. I mean we didn’t exactly jump to start this game but the last 3+ minutes has been mostly in the Leaf zone, or heading to the Leaf zone while in the Neutral zone

now the Leafs are all over us. Denis has made some nice saves so far…. Understatement but the truth.

They’ve hung Denis out to dry too many times now. One resulted in Kilger’s goal…

Speak of the devil, they did it again just before the horn sounded. They have GOT to play Defense. Torts has to remind them…

Um…a Spanish language Pontiac commercial? Um, Sun Sports? Is there a big hidden Hispanic NHL fan base locally?

And I’ve been complaining about the St. Pete Times lately? How long is the list of transgressions against Sun Sports/Fox Sports governorship of Sun Sports?

What are the odds Shane-O and Tucker drop them before this thing is over?

Good aggressive penalty. Kill it off!
I gotta say that Sun’s broadcast crew and camera folks do an OK job. It’s just that they do it in spite of, not because, of network support.

Hah! They scored the SH’er the second I hit the submit button! Awesome!

And Marty had a chance to tack on another… Please be more selfish!

Yeah. Just to back up the posts about Sun Sports/FSN…

Darcy Tucker might sport an “El Diablo” goatee but he reminds me of Charlie Brown. He just keeps getting beat down and cries about it over and over again.

No oen was playing physical the last few minutes. No hitting, no nothing. It’s no wonder that was the end result. Denis can’t stop everything when he’s got no one trying to stop things in front of him.

Yeah, this is definitely a game Torts and the press can’t blame on the goalie. Had no idea Denis could be so acrobatic. One of the only plusses bout this game, which spiraled after the glorious early work of Richie & Boyler.
