The elder statesman in Tampa Bay pro sports, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL franchise, was rumored for sale today. The rumors were shot down by the team (slanderous! outrageous! irresponsible!) but there have been rumors about Buccaneer ownership for quite some time now.
