Tampa Bay Lightning at Atlanta Thrashers preview

WHERE:  Phillips Arena  Atlanta, Georgia
WHEN: 7 PM EDT
MEDIA:  Sun Sports TV (Cable), 620WDAE (Radio)

As I said in the opening night post earlier in the day, the Lightning have lost nine straight regular season games dating back to last season.  Something that needs to be rectified.  STAT.

Tonight will see the professional debuts of 2009 draft picks Victor Hedman (#2 overall) and Evander Kane (#4 overall).  Kane and Lightning forward James Wright (2008 draft, #117 overall) will also be making hsi professional debut tonight.

This is the second meeting within a week of the two teams, as they closed out the pre-season against one another last Friday, the Lightning were winners (5-1).
