PrintWe extend congratulations to the 2009 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins (and certainly towards our SB Nation brethren at Pensburgh). The Pens came back from the brink in this series to trump the defending Cup champions, the Detroit Red Wings.
Captain Sidney Crosby, come get your Stanley Cup!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes the 2008-2009 National Hockey League season! Stay tuned for all the fun and games of the NHL off season, commencing immediately! For now, we pay homage to the efforts of the Penguins and Red Wings alike -- great series, gentlemen. We thank you for that.
