Just in time for the Lightning road trip to Long Island: Islanders upheval
It's being reported far and wide that New York Islanders head coach Scott Gordon has been relieved of his duties.
The Lightning travel to Long Island on Wednesday to take on the Isles. I can't exactly say this was justified, or say with authority this wasn't... I'll leave that declaration up to Isles fans and the crew at Lighthouse Hockey.

Teams often perform better with new coaching in the short term. Hopefully that’s not the case Wednesday night.
