Chicago Blackhawks: 2010 Stanley Cup Champions
Congratulations to the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks (and certainly towards our SB Nation brethren at Second City Hockey, where you can find more coverage on the 'Hawks and certainly more revalry in the championship). The 'Hawks defeated the Philadelphia Flyers tonight in overtime, 4-3 , to win the best of seven series four games to two.
And without further ado: Captain Jonathan Toews, come get your Stanley Cup!
With that, ladies and gents, we conclude the 2009-2010 National Hockey League season! Stay tuned for all the fun and games of the coming off-season, commencing immediately. For now, we pay homage to the efforts of the 'Hawks and Flyers alike -- great series, guys. And great playoffs..

First thing’s first: We have a new coach to meet at 11 AM. Second thing’s second: We’ve got the draft to prepare for.

Lightning Fan In Chicago
I will say that the folks up here do know how to throw a party. The long time fans and the legions of bandwagon fans partied late into the night last night. As an honorary Blackhawks supporter I was doused with plenty of cheap beer and hugged by a lot of weeping strangers.
The parade is going by my office tomorrow – might have to take a two hour lunch and see what it’s all about.
Can’t wait till we see the Bolts lifting the Cup once again! Excited about the new coach and the new organization. Hopefully, it transfer to success on the ice as well.
