Local independent newspaper Creative Loafing has started running it's annual Best Of The Bay awards, which takes nominations for various sorts of topics, goods, services, people, places, etc.

The section titled "People, Places and Politics" gives you a chance to vote for your favorite athletes in the Bay Area... Oh, and favorite bloggers too (hint hint, wink wink).

These awards are VERY Tampa Bay-centric, so if you're not in Tampa Bay and don't know the area -- don't feel obligated to go over there. But if you're a TB resident and have opinions on any number of things, places, people, etc... Make your voice heard and vote.
