Today the NHL announced the television schedule for its national broadcasting partners NBC, Versus, NHL Network and for those of you in Canada, CBC, TSN and RDS.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will have sixteen of their games aired on Versus, TSN, TSN2, CBC, NBC or NHL Net Canada. Their first game aired nationally on Versus will be on October 14th at Philadelphia and will (depending on flex scheduling) finish off their national broadcasts at Chicago on NBC on April 3 2011.

The Lightning will appear on HNIC four times playing Vancouver and Montreal once and Ottawa twice.

NBC has the Lightning scheduled to play against the St. Louis Blues on February 6th and the Chicago Blackhawks on April 3rd but since NBC will work on flexible scheduling to provide the most exciting game for their Game of the Week broadcast, the games may or may not get broadcast on NBC. I'm leaning towards not with that St. Louis game since the alternate game for NBC is the Washington Capitals vs the Pittsburgh Penguins though the Chicago one looks like it might have a shot at being aired
