St. Louis, Stamkos make 2011 NHL All-star team
They've made an impact together in the NHL, they've made an impact together in the Hockey World Championships, and now they will be making an impact together as NHL All-Stars.
2011 NHL All-Star players were announced just now and Martin St. Louis and Steven Stamkos have been named as All-Stars. This does not mean they have been paired up, as teams have not been set (new formatting for this year's All-Star game will result in teams being "drafted"), but the potential is there.
The dynamic duo is one of the most offensive pairings in the NHL, with 110 points between them this season in 43 games played.

Yeah baby!
Congrats to them both!
"1 - 2 - Freddy's coming for you, 3 - 4 - Better lock your door, 5 - 6 - Grab your crucifix, 7 - 8 - Better stay up late, 9 - 10 - Never sleep again..."
Stamkos is young, he should go, and that is it.
St. Louis should say thank you, forget it. He is getting long in the tooth, but still great. I would rather he St. Louis have the 4 days of rest. Often, Olympians and All Star participants have a let down after the All Star (and Ollympic games) because it get’s tiring. The travel, the events, the hockey. I would rather the Lightning compete for a cup and have Martin St Louis sit at home and watch the game on TV. A recharged St Loius is better than a meaningless game.
