Tuesdays with Dani: Feaster quotes on Tortorella are gold
During the Rangers' Western Canada swing, John Tortorella made me remember why I miss him as a coach. His sound bites can be a gift. Tortorella had a 16 second postgame press conference after the loss to the Oilers. It consisted with him saying "We sucked from head to toe."
And Torts was not the only one giving this weekend, Jay Feaster reflects on his time spent with Tortorella to the Calgary Herald. Best line? "I can't count how many guys I had in my office, complaining: 'He hates me.' And my standard response was 'Don't flatter yourself, he hates us all. Equally.'

Alongside the picture is a message of congratulations for making the magazine so quickly."

NOOOOOO!!!
Not the Blues! Please Oren, for the love of Plante, Hull, Shanahan and Federko, do not buy the Blues!
On the other hand, there’s a team in Arizona that could use some new ownership…

Hilarious. Gotta love Torts
I know, I still do… and most likely will forever, even if a lot of it has to do with a guy named Lord Stanley. Sure glad he’s still coaching in the NHL and think NY is a great fit for him.
Like most hockey fans, I’ve never really liked the Rangers, haha. Until Torts became coach and made them an actual respectable team (again?) Not only is Torts always fun to watch, but this young, feisty team he put together is too. Coach Torts, Babcock and now Boucher, are definitely in a unique league of their own, on several levels.. which is a whole other post. Hey.. if it works?
-Panthers/Knucks trade… Looks like I wasn’t the only one who was extremely surprised by it. The one part I don’t like… Having former Red Wing Samuelsson, on the Panthers. Sammy was one of many favs on the team and having him so close to enemy territory is tough to handle. Not to mention, he’s a helluva player… but is unfortunately getting near end of his career, I’d imagine.
-Pronger… No Comment. Haha.
Let's GO..Wings, Tigers, Lions, Wolverines (oh my!) & Bolts!!!!

Still smarting over that Omark bs.
C’mon, although basically no one will admit it, the spin was ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY. I’m fine with the stick tap but the spin was complete bush league and it’s ridiculous for people to compare Marty’s spin with Omark’s. Marty’s spin was a hockey move. Omark’s was showboating… and rookies taking their first SO attempt certainly shouldn’t be showboating.

I said at the time, and I say now
the goal in a shootout is to score. He scored. His methodology was within the rules. There’s not much more to say
