Connolly moves up a line, due to Smith-Pelly injury

Well, looks like Brett "old man" Connolly's role just got a bit larger while playing for Team Canada at the 2012 World Junior Chamionship. Due to Devante Smith-Pelly suffering a broken foot during Monday's 8-1 win over Finland. Smith-Pelly being the only other NHL player, besides Connolly, playing for Canada. Unfortunately, Brett has been no stranger to his team calling upon him for a larger role, due to a teammates injury. No doubt, he'll take at as another opportunity to step up, show what he's made of and help fill that void. JM Yzerman knows how important these big scale tournaments are and how much they can help a young player like Connolly. Which played a huge part in why he was allowed, by the Lightning, to play in this tournament to begin with. Guess we as Bolt fans, should just be selfishly thankful and happy.. that it will be Brett doing the stepping up and not the "sitting down." This can only help him in his development and confidence, when it comes to important games/situations. (Wish could say same for Smith-Pelly.. it's a shame)
