Martin St. Louis takes puck in eye at practice
Martin St. Louis' iron man streka is in jeopardy 00 but that should be the least of the concerns this afternoon as Marty took a puck in the eye during practice this morning.
We'll have more on this in our game preview.

That sucks.
If there’s a silver lining at all—and I’m not sure there is, in this significant an injury—this may be the shake-up and rallying point this team needs.
On the other hand, Marty’s been one of the most consistent players we’ve had. Tough to see him go down.

That’s true enough. It may cause the team to band together. Gotta hope, if it ends up he’s out for a while. Tho, I wouldn’t wish an eye injury on anybody.

Yeah, this is not good. Has Stamkos ever played an NHL game without Marty? That idea is enough to freak me out right there.
Get better Marty. The team needs you, but more importantly, we all love you.

Nope. That includes his ASG appearence.

I hadn’t quite gotten that far yet, but it ought to be interesting to see how much of Stamkos’s success is due to Marty propping him up.
