starting goaltenders
ok,aquiring Dwayne Roloson was a wise move by Mr Yserman, since there has been a revolving door for goaltenders since "the Bulin Wall" but...I have a few questions:first, whatever happened to Cedrick Desjardins who was called up from the minors for two games and was spectacular? He faced Montreal and Boston, won both games and held both teams to only one goal, obviously he has the skills and the desire to play in the NHL,second:what the **** is mike smith doing in the Lightning lineup? He cant stop a beachball!... third: We traded Dan Ellis even to the Ducks for their backup goalie but I have yet to see him play even one period ,I feel Guy Boucher could coach this team deep in the playoffs but goaltending must be addressed and I want Desjardins to start again,he could be a secret weapon the other teams wont expect, this team has the depth to be a Cup contender if we play our cards right and I'm all in...Go Lightning !!

Desjardins has been hurt for most of the season..
He injured a shoulder shortly after his stint in Tampa and has just recently been cleared to play. He has resumed playing in Norfolk.
The goalie the Lightning received in the Dan Ellis trade was to be sent to Norfolk but had to clear waivers before that could happen. He was claimed by the Ottawa Senators. Perhaps you’ve seen the past two games vs Ottawa? The goalie, Curtis McElhinney, is the backup that was claimed. He never played a game in Tampa and never made it to Norfolk.
Trouble on the ice? Wait! Andre Roy could fix it!!
Uh, Tina? No.
Cedrick was hurt for two months. Not most of the season., He is back adn playing with the Admirals now.
McElhinney never played in Tampa and was only acquired in order to dump Ellis. It was not a move to soldify the net. Odd that Curtis has been a shwo stopper more times than not for Ottawa.

I thought the time Desjardins missed was more than 2 months. I know he was cleared for play not too long ago.
