Congratulations to Maritn St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightnign for being nominated for the Lady Byng award!...

...Again.

The award given out to the NHL's most gentlemanly player has been a perpetual nomination for St. Louis.  This is his fourth nomination.  His usual competitor in this field, Detroit Red Wings Pavel Datsyuk, is not nominated this year.  In his steed is teammate Nicklas LidstromDallas Stars wing Loui Ericksson rounds out the three finalists for the award.

Marty won the award last year.  And we wish him luck on it (again) this year.  Of course, I'd also like to see him nominated for another NHL award, but I digress

In other organizational news, Mattias Ritola and Blair Jones have both been returned to the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL.  Both had been recalled before yesterday's game.  Ritola played in place of the suspended Steve Downie, but only logged 2:23 of ice time.

The Admirals can certainly use their presence.  They are now tied in their best-of-seven series with the Wilkes-Barre Scraton Penguins 2-2.

Also joining the Admirals in prospect Carter Ashton.  Ashton's junior hockey season ended with the elimination of the Tri-City Americans at the hands of the Spokane Chiefs in the WHL playoffs.
