The accident happened in Pinellas County
In Seminole I think… which is about 10-15min from my place and also about 20min from the Forum. Sad, he was only 58.

Yeah, his whole family lives around here. Hi father passed away last year I believe. His brother (who was “The Genius” until an in-ring accident) is still around.
It happened 2 miles from his Seminole home.

So I just read my Dad the bandwagon primer
and he said that Boucher’s scar is almost certainly (~95%) from a large melanoma, given the size and shape of the flap. I make no claims of knowledge in this area, but scars are his field.

Martin Fennelly in the Tampa Tribune today
Opined that the Lightning need a jolt to the system so that they can get up to the plate and knock in a few more baskets for a touchdown. Hopefully they would not commit too many double-faults in the ring either, or that may lead to a corner kick.

Ugh.. wish I was at the game or outside watching.
Girlfriend had to go downtown Tampa dismorning for a mock jury thing, not only will she be like 2-3 blocks from the game, she’ll have to miss the whole thing most likely.. probably won’t be done for few hours. She is not thrilled. Keeping her updated thru texts though, still a bummer.

But the problem has been the exact same for this entire series: Our D is being manhandled.

Time for the Lightning to start using their speed against the Bruins. What separates these two teams is speed, goaltending, defense, and offense. Speed and offense go to the Lightning. Defense and goaltending go to the Bruins. When the Bruins pick up three goals in the first period of this game you know that something is wrong with the focus and execution of Tampa’s gameplan.
I hope Boucher slits a throat or threatens people with his death ray during the intermission. The team needs to wake up NOW. This game is not out of reach.

Detroit wants to stay in the West. Columbus makes the most sense since they’re the farthest east of the teams in the West, and they’re about a 3.5-hour drive from Pittsburgh. Nashville, if they switched, would be the only team in Central Time, and that screws up the NHL marketing machine.

Money
According to Jimmy Devellano, Detroit’s senior vice president, a move won’t be happening next season for the Red Wings. "We’re going to be right where we are next year," he said on Saturday. "Beyond that, I can’t comment. Next year we’re right where we are."
Moving East would mean money and time saved on travel for the organization, not to mention reasonable start times for fans in Detroit when the Red Wings are on the road.
That’s why Devellano is holding out hope that it could still happen as soon as the 2012-13 season. "Fingers crossed, toes crossed, saying prayers," he joked.

He’s made some pretty awesome saves, but he’s also done a lot of playing when we’re on a charge (Ha, charge) and Roloson, despite some iffy performances, has kept us in the game for a lot of the playoffs, it’s a hard call.

I’m kind of conflicted about it, to be honest. There was a complete defensive break down on the three Bruins goals, but Roloson was not great there either. I’m not sure I think Smith is the guy to go with to face three periods of Bruins, especially if the guys in front of him start out the way we did this game.

Going into the third game of the Confederations Cup facing almost certain elimination, the US National (soccer) team put in backup goalie Brad Guzan. They won 3-0 and miraculous advanced to play #1 Spain, who hadn’t lost a game in four years. Many were clamoring for Guzan to start again. After all, he was hot against Egypt. USA stuck with starting goalie Tim Howard, and. . . well, this happened.
I know it’s a different sport, but the lesson is the same: stick with your #1.

I say we've seen what the Lightning can do today.
They keep it up they win the series. But they’ve kind of stopped playing in games 2 and 3…and those were critical games too. So…I dunno.
