I think the HHoF is more than just stats, and because of that, I’m not sure sure that Bure’s all that worthy. I liked Bure; I watched him play in Vancouver. But other than goal scoring, he didn’t do much. Now, Alexander Mogilny…that’s a completely different story.

Didn’t you hear? Because the Flyers and Leafs are BIG MARKET, when their fans say ‘Pesto!’, Tampa Bay automatically becomes a ‘low-budget team’ unable to afford Stamkos, and they automagically get to offer him an offer sheet HE’S GUARANTEED TO SIGN!

But Holmgren had to do something. Bryz made a convenient excuse for both his and Carter’s relocation.

And that’s why he will never change. Every year he makes his dollars on people like the people who think Stammer really is going to leave right now. Personally, I’m fine with that. To each their own.

The problem I have with his site (not even him personally) is there’s no way for a novice hockey fan to tell what to believe and what to call a complete joke. So the unsuspecting new fan believes it.

I've been playing my NHL 2002 again recently
only problem I have is my obsession to create ~50 of the best players in the league now who weren’t in the league then.
This inadvertently creates super teams like the Flyers, where I add guys like Giroux and Briere (much better player now than he was circa 2001-2002) to the Roenicks/Recchis/Leclairs, and they end up winning 59 games in a simulated season, winning the President’s Trophy, and then doing what they do best, and falling flat on their face in the playoffs, losing to the Devils in the ECF.
Of course, Detroit also gets a huge boost with Datsyuk/Zets/Franzen added to a team with Stevie Y., Fedorov, Shanahan, Lidstorm, Hasek, and others, and wins the Cup in the first completed simulated season.
Back when I played this game in 2004/2005’ish, there wasn’t much to bother me. Nowadays, I feel I need the best of both worlds.
On a sidenote, I love how EA Sports games allow for the large diversity in uniforms that can be worn for any given game. As much as I love the Kings old new black/white/silver scheme (underrated), their original purple/yellow sweater is a beauty.

This was the case in the past, until I had to completely re-launch my computer system and, as a result, re-install the program, but if I had just started doing this stuff again a week ago, the Flyers would also have Mike Richards and Jeff Carter at their disposal.
