loss that's actually happened?
none of them really bother me a lot. really wanted Bergenheim back, but not at the price that Florida wanted him at. Obviously, losing Stammer or Purcell would be upsetting.
I would like to see us nail one more forward at some point. Neither Gagne nor Bergenheim are irreplaceable, but I’m not sure we have the players to just move a few people up a line and not drop off.

I’m shocked. A well thought out, balanced remark about how neither Bergenheim or Gagne are irreplaceable. Depending on which Twitter remark you are reading, you’d think that both players were Hart finalists in Tampa.

although the 16/14 split would be such a bad idea. nobody likes it in baseball, nobody would like it in hockey. but the first round of the playoffs being intra-division might could be kinda cool

well, there was the Gold Cup
which was awesome until the final. went to a conference last week. crashed my prof’s car on the way back. visiting family now

He’s still under contract, that’s why. He was signed by the Wings but the Islanders claimed him off of entry waivers. He didn’t want to play for the Islanders so he refused to show up. His contract ends next year. (Google is your friend.) :o)

Regarding prospect camp
Is it open to the public?? Thought I remember them talking more about it last year and having a more public friendly schedule. Or am I maybe thinking of actual training camp in Brandon, held (obviously) closer to start of the season?
Was thinking about heading over to check it out, as Brandon is only about a 35min drive from us. Even though their doesn’t seem to be any scrimmages or 3 on 3 tournaments scheduled for the weekend. Only on Mon & Tues. which isn’t very work friendly. Which adds to thinking maybe they’d rather not make this a public affair.
