Riku’s in Sweden, not Finland.
And I liked Niittymaki a lot. I never thought he should have been let go at all. They made a mistake replacing him with Ellis.
But a goalie with his hip issues and surgical history does NOT warrant a roster player in trade, let alone a top-six forward.

Loved the fact that the Panthers/Hawks game was delayed up here because of heavy snow. It took the Panthers bus about an hour and half to get from downtown to the United Center. Pretty sure it’s a drive less than 4 miles

No – Hollywood is afraid of new ideas. They think that old ideas are worth re-using since they’re safe. They made money with that idea before, so they’ll probably make money with that same idea again. It’s too much of a financial risk to use a knew idea for any studio.
