There's something heartwarming about seeing a former player that you love do well on a new team; that is, providing they are not on a team that is your rival. So with recently traded forward Steve Downie now in the Western Conference, seeing him do well is just awesome.
Last night the Colorado Avalanche tweeted:
Steve Downie has seven points (2g/5a) w/a +7 rating in his last three games. COL is 4-0 since acquiring Downie on Feb. 21.
