When we last saw our heroes, they had narrowly escaped the clutches of the Connecticut Whale and their evil mascot, Pucky. Well, not as narrowly as the IceCaps escaped from the clutches of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, but still it was a tough series. Luckily Richard Panik decided to put his superhero cape on.
Also on tap tonight is Game 3 of the Phoenix Coyotes - Los Angeles Kings series. So far LA has been dominant in all aspects of the game, to the point that the Coyotes began to disintegrate on Monday. Two important players got ejected from the game, Shane Doan and Martin Hanzal. Mike Smith lost his temper and gave Dustin Brown a bad slash during a 5-on-3 and got scored on for his efforts. While I don't expect this game to go the way of Game 2, The Coyotes have got to be nervous and desperate. Game starts at 9:00pm ET on NBCSN.
