Pyatt left the game in the third period after suffering a broken collarbone in what was his season debut. He had missed the first two games of the season with an undisclosed upper body injury.
Tampa Bay announced Wednesday that there will be no call-ups from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League because of Pyatt's injury. The Lightning will go ahead with a 22 man roster -- 12 forwards, 8 defensemen, 2 goalies -- for now. There was earlier speculation that the Bolts could recall someone for depth from the Syracuse Crunch, but that's not in the cards for the moment.
Pyatt, a forward with good checking and defensive skills, led all forwards in blocked shots (36) last season. He also had scored eight goals and had eight assists during the shortened 2013 campaign. In 2011-2012, he notched 12 goals and 19 points in 74 games.
