The flip-side of back-to-back games this weekend, the Lightning face the Penguins at Consol Energy Center.
The Tampa Bay Lightning go into Pittsburgh for the second of back-to-back games. In their weekend opener against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Lightning won 5-2 and got point contributions from their three rookie players: a goal from Richard Panik (his first in the NHL), an assist from Cory Conacher on Steven Stamkos's 12th goal of the season, and an assist from Alex Killorn on Tom Pyatt's 4th goal of the season. That win put the Lightning at the top of the Southeast Division, for now.
Tonight, the Lightning face a Penguins team without Evgeni Malkin, who is out with concussion-like symptoms. However, Pittsburgh still has their captain, Sidney Crosby, who is a noteworthy opponent himself. The Penguins are sitting atop the Atlantic Division, and are second in the Eastern Conference going into tonight's game.
