The fourth-liner was set to become a Group IV free-agent.

The player with the best nickname on the Tampa Bay Lightning will have another go-around with the Bolts next season. It was announced Monday night that forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie, aka "Nacho" Labrie, was re-signed by the club. Labrie was to be a Group IV UFA in the coming days. The new contract is for one year and is a one-way deal.

P.C., 26, started the 2012-13 season in Syracuse during the NHL lockout before joining the Tampa Bay Lightning for the abbreviated 2013 season. Labrie played 19 games with the Bolts, mostly on the fourth line, with 2 goals and 1 assist to his name, along with 30 penalty minutes.

In Syracuse, Labrie had played 39 games and scored 11 goals with 7 assists; that total includes a two-week conditioning stint in 2013.

The "Nacho" moniker was coined by Lightning forward Ryan Malone during the 2011-12 season after Labrie made his NHL debut with the Bolts, it's inspired by the filme Nacho Libre.
