If keeping track of the new NHL alignment and division names has not thrown you for a loop yet, then there is a chance the League's new playoff format might. So just in case, here is a quick refresher.

Florida re-acquires Roberto Luongo

Ah! Our old adversary, Roberto Luongo, returns to the Eastern Conference and his old team, the Florida Panthers. Goalie Jacob Markstrom and Shawn Matthias are reported to be what the Canucks will get in return. This is by far the biggest trade for the Atlantic Division at this point in the 2014 NHL trade deadlien build up. Death, taxes, waiver claim?

The Ottawa senators have placed the forward on waivers on Tuesday, making him eligible to be claimed by any of the 29 other NHL clubs. Bringing him back to the organization he had success with may be beneficial.
