The NBA's current collective bargaining agreement is far from perfect, but at least there's a fixed rookie salary scale to avoid the annual rookie signing mess plaguing the NFL. When was the last time you heard a #10 pick demanding top 5 pick money in the NBA? You don't because rookie salaries are predetermined by draft position in the NBA.
