According to a report in The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, Northeastern hockey coach Greg Cronin is leaving the program to take on a job in the AHL. Former BU forward Vinny Saponari appears headed to the Huskies.

Vinny Saponari, the former Boston University hockey forward dismissed by the Terriers, was set to transfer to Boston College for the 2011 season. After having his transfer application denied, it doesn't look like Saponari will be joining the Eagles after all.
