Raw Charge, a Tampa Bay Lightning community

There are reports flurrying around the web today suggesting that a group of Asian businessmen are ready to table an offer of 1 Billiion British pounds (over $1.626 Billion US) for Manchester United, the English Premiere League soccer team owned by the Glazer family, owners of the Bucs. However, I would take this with a grain of salt simply knowing that this is coming from a British tabloid with un-named sources.

The elder statesman in Tampa Bay pro sports, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL franchise, was rumored for sale today. The rumors were shot down by the team (slanderous! outrageous! irresponsible!) but there have been rumors about Buccaneer ownership for quite some time now. At any rate, our friends at Bucem.com have more on the subject -- and of course check out the comments on the Fanshot on the brouhaha from today... Because it's much more active than the Buccaneer offense at current (which isn't saying much as the team is bye this week).
