Wish that I was on Ol Rocky Top (Play it Loud)

I ventured in to the belly of the beast this today. I spent 8 hours in the largest company in the free world, a mere miles from the University of Arkansas. Surrounded by Razorbacks, Tigers, and a...

Garden of the Gods

I have spent the majority of this week in Colorado Springs, CO. Before that I was in Minnesota. It has been years since I have been back here. 1997 to be exact. I was stationed at Ft. Carson at...

I swear I don't really think it's all over. No, honest to god.

I've been traveling for much of the past week, and I had planned to write a (somewhat) joking post here about how Liverpool's terrible away form was such a downer that it's even affecting my...

I’d just come visit your ass in the hospital…

If I was a Bronco about to play on Sunday, I would have this playing through my headphones on...

If I was a Bronco about to play on Sunday, I would have this playing through my headphones on repeat all weekend. Eddie.Teach put up a commercial similar to this and it led me to this one. I thought it was especially applicable given we are once again the underdogs on Sunday. This is a comfortable position for us by now, and one that I quite frankly enjoy. I wanted to share this with you all, becuase it got me even more amped for this weekend's game. I wrote out what it said in case anyone can't watch the video for some reason: Whether or not you win this thing, you’ve got to decide how you’re going to walk out of here when it’s all said and done; because, the game is going to go on, and there is only one rule you’re going to need to know about: there are no second chances. There is only this moment and the next moment. Every one of those moments is a test that you get to take one time and only one time. So if you see an opening, tear into it. If you get a shot at victory make damn sure you take it. Seize that moment. That moment is a crossroads where everything you want will collide with everything standing in your way. You’ve got momentum at your back. Fear and doubt are thundering like a freight train straight at you, and all you’ve got, the only difference between making history and being history, the only thing - the ONLY thing - you can count on at any given moment is you. It’s you versus “them.” You versus “no.” You versus “can’t.” You versus next year, last year, statistics, excuses. It’s you versus history. It’s you versus “the odds.” It’s you versus second place. The clock is ticking. Let’s see what you’ve got.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Boston Bruins preview

Forget revenge the Bolts go into Boston tonight on the heels of a 5-1 victory. Will they come in with momentum, or will they be driven by emotional motivation?

Holiday Bowl: Against Arizona, Motivation for Nebraska Won't Be A Problem

In two short years, Nebraska's defense has removed the stain of 2007. The players were around then won't let this team have a problem with being motivated against Arizona in the Holiday Bowl.

The State of Johnny Weir

Well, the Olympic media summit continued and a product was this Phil Hersh article on Johnny Weir. In it, Weir says that he considered quitting the sport (of course) after not making last season's...

Asada's New Combo

AFP reports that Japan's Mao Asada will be attempting to put a triple toe loop on (one of?) her triple axels this season. Since we (for about the last season) have been at the point where it's...
