Posted over at Pension Plan Puppets, here's a great statistical breakdown of the NHL draft the past 15 years... You can take what you want and argue observations or conclusions but I find this to be intriguing none-the-less.

So Greg Logan, who has changed horses several times about the top pick in the draft, is now predicting Matt Duchene as the Islanders #1 pick in Friday's NHL draft. What an unlikely scenario. I wonder what the fallout in the draft would be from that? < end snark >
