The Tampa Bay Lightning have parted ways with defenseman Pavel Kubina for two draft selections from the Philadelphia Flyers.

Defenseman Pavel Kubina has yet to submit a list of teams he is willing to accept a trade to. That, reportedly, hasn't stopped at least one NHL team from making an offer.

The "North America versus the World" format of the past wasn't that great an idea. It was, however, cause for one of my first stories about the Lightning online.
