The Tampa Bay Lightning overcame a sloppy second period to beat the Ottawa Senators 6-4 in front of a sellout crowd of 19,204 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum Friday night.

After being swept last season by the Senators, the Lightning hope to turn over a new leaf tonight against Ottawa.
