Amalie Arena and the Tampa Bay Lightning (28-14-4) play host to the Colorado Avalanche (19-17-9) this evening as the second game of a three-game homestand before the All-Star break.

The Avalanche has 47 points after 45 games played this season, good for 5th place in the Central Division but a drastic fall-off compared to where they were at this time last season; target="_blank">they were 30-12-5 with 65 points and battling the St. Louis Blues for 2nd place while Chicago ran away with the division.
