03.31.2015 Tampa Bay Lightning at Toronto Maple Leafs game day coverage

No rest for the winners...

The Tampa Bay Lightning (47-23-7) will complete a back-to-back series with their contest tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs (28-42-6) who are near the cellar of the NHL in general at the moment.
The Leafs may have fallen into dysfunction and disrepair, but they are also content when they have the opportunity to play the spoiler. The Leafs last game was a 4-3 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators, dashing the Sens playoff hopes. It's also worth noting that game was Saturday.
As head coach Jon Cooper summarized it in December, "Standings don't mean S-with-a-T" , especially when it's a rested club plaing against a wary team.
