The NHL season is only a month old and yet the Tampa Bay Lightning (6-6-2, 3rd place in the Atlantic Division) will face the Buffalo Sabres (5-7-0, 7th place in the Atlantic) for the third time.
The Bolts have won both previous games in the season series thus far, winning 4-1 on October 10 and 2-1 on October 17.
Only four points seperate the two clubs in the standings, and the Sabres have two games in-hand on Tampa Bay. Don’t let the Sabres initial slow start fool you; they’re part of the race.
