The Tampa Bay Lightning struggled throughout the game and eventually lost to the Winnipeg Jets, 2-1, in front of a sold-out crowd of 19,204. Nikita Kucherov was ejected in the third period after a questionable hit on Winnipeg's Toby Enstrom.
