An early Saturday afternoon affair at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, could also be a possible preview ofa first-round playoff series as the Tampa Bay Lightning (46-22-7) play their final season-series game against the Detroit Red Wings (39-22-12).
Both clubs are coming off losses suffered on Thursday night to Western Conference opponents. The Red Wings have two games in-hand on the Lightning still, but limited opportunity to make up the - points that divide the two clubs in the standings; their position as #3 seed in the Divisional playoffs seems all but clinched.

Bolts blanked 4-0 in possible playoff preview
Not a particularly good showing from a Tampa Bay Lightning squad that may very well end up facing this Detroit Red Wings team in Round 1 of the playoffs. The Bolts also lost both Cedric Paquette and Jason Garrison to injury.
