The Tampa Bay Lightning (47-24-8) end their regular season road schedule this evening in south Florida against the Florida Panthers (36-27-15), who's playoff chances are all but gone while the future brightens for the team.
The acquisition of Jaromir Jagr from the New Jersey Devils may have come too late... Not because his offensive production has specifically lifted the club (16 games played in, 5 goals, 9 assists), but the confidence boost he's given the team in general. The Panthers are 10-5-2 since Jagr's debut on February 28th.
This is the first of back-to-back games for Florida, while for the Lightning it's the last game until Thursday. Will the Bolts put it all on the table tonight, or come to work like it's the last day before a vacation?
