Lightning / Amalie Arena to hold job fair on Monday, August 24

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

The annual rite of summer that denotes its near completion (not exactly Labor Day but a notable substitute) is about to occur with the Tampa Bay Lightning: It's annual part-time job fair for work opportunities at Amalie Arena for the upcoming 2015-16 NHL season (and other events at Amalie Arena in the coming months).

From the press release sent out by the club this morning:

LIGHTNING, AMALIE ARENA TO HOST PART-TIME JOB FAIR

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena will hold a part-time job fair on Monday, August 24 from 3 - 7 p.m. on the Promenade Level of the arena. The fair is being held to fill positions for Amalie Arena events, Lightning hockey and Tampa Bay Storm football games.

The Lightning and Amalie Arena will be hiring for a number of positions including ushers, guest service representatives, security, housekeeping, conversion, retail, concessions, kitchen staff, warehouse and working on the suite level. All positions are part-time and offer competitive hourly wages with incentives. All candidates are asked to dress professionally and to bring five copies of their resume, along with written references.

Applicants are asked to enter via the main staircase off of Ford Thunder Alley.

For more information visit www.tampabaylightning.com.

There was a second job fair last season, so this isn't necessarily the only chance you'll have to apply for a job with the clb.. It is your primary opportunity while the majority of the part-time job openings exist.

Good luck!
