Often known as Artoo during his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning organization, Evgeny Artyukhin had an entertaining fight in the KHL with former Dallas Star Valeri Nichushkin. While Nichushkin isn’t a small player, he still surrenders 3-4 inches and over 50 pounds to Artyukhin. Check out the fight below that came after Artyukhin checked Nichushkin in a game between Sibir and CSKA.

Artyukhin played 150 games with 34 points for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2005-06 and 2008-09 seasons sandwiched around a stint in the Russia Super League. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and spent four seasons playing professionally in the Lightning organization. He split the 2009-10 season between the Anaheim Ducks and Atlanta Thrashers in the NHL before returning to Russia. He is in his 7th year in the KHL and is currently the captain of Sibir Novosibirsk.
