When bounces go your way, this is what winning looks like.
On the heels of a three-game losing streak and desperately needing a victory in the final game of a six-game road trip, the Lightning have been scoring from almost everywhere during Tuesday’s game against the Islanders. Already up 4-0, the Lightning were shorthanded, and the Islanders could’ve capitalized on the man advantage.
Instead, JT Brown picks up the loose puck and goes for the breakaway and scores, putting the Bolts up 5-0.
He gets the approval from his wife.
I woulda had that one https://t.co/Q8SIFfqnZZ

Brown’s first goal of the season couldn’t have come at a more opportune time as he had been benched the previous game.
At the end of the second period, the Lightning are up 6-1.
