This was a slow week, since a lot of the kids are away at World Junior Championship camps. Watch Quick Strikes for stories from there.
Those that remained behind had their usual weeks. Most of the NCAA school were away on exams or Winter break. Next week there are no CHL games either, so no pipeline posts.
By mid-January the CHL trade deadline will have passed and we may see some new teams on the list. Mitchell Stephens is rumoured to be on the move out of Saginaw, with Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Hamilton all sniffing around.
