Is Tampa Bay Gangsta Paradise? The trades may be over but prospect season is just beginning...Those are some reads for mid-week.

  • Sunday evening saw a very questionable hit by the Boston Bruins Zac Rinaldo on the Lightning's Cedric Paquette. Tuesday saw a very responsive five game suspension handed out to Rinaldo by the league. [Stanley Cup of Chowder]

*for those confused or think I'm insulting the team, Tyler Johnson started a saying back in his AHL days during a longer winning streak that so-many wins is a fluke, increase that number by one and that would be a streak.  "Seven's a fluke, eight's a streak" in this case.
